In Spring 2006 I took a trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina, to improve my Spanish and to get more familiar with the origins of Tango. I stayed in San Telmo, a historic district in this most European of South American cities. There was a metro and a cute park right near by.

In some of my spare hours when I wasn't dancing tango (or taking a Spanish lesson), I visited La Boca, where you can sit and have a drink, look at the colorful buildings, or enjoy the murals on the walls.

One of the best photo opportunities was the Ricoletta cemetary where there are mausoleums connected by street-like alleyways, compelling statues of angels, and lots of cats.
